Describe your jouney to Faculty of Pharmacy

My journey to the Faculty of Pharmacy began at another university , where I studied pharmacy for two years. Initially, I was drawn to pharmacy because of my interest in healthcare and the science behind medications. However, I soon realized that the city felt too small for my aspirations and social needs. After careful consideration, I decided to transfer to Masaryk University in Brno, which offered a more vibrant academic environment and greater opportunities for networking and professional growth.

What do you like about your studies?

I particularly enjoy the comprehensive curriculum at Masaryk University, which balances theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The faculty is supportive and approachable, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

What difficulties have you encountered before or after moving to Brno?

Before moving to Brno, I faced challenges in adapting to a new academic environment and building a social network. The transition from a smaller city to a larger one was initially overwhelming, but it also offered new opportunities. After moving, I encountered difficulties in adjusting to the pace of studies and managing my time effectively amidst a more demanding workload.

What advice would you give to new students?

My advice to new students is to stay open-minded and proactive. Engage with your peers, attend events, and seek out opportunities for involvement beyond the classroom. Don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed, whether from faculty or fellow students. Time management is crucial, so develop a study schedule that works for you.
