Graduation ceremony of the unique class 2025
On Friday, 20 June, we celebrated the newest Masters of Pharmacy, our graduating class of 2025.
On Friday 23 June, the master's and advanced master's degree Pharmacy programme graduates celebrated the successful completion of their studies. More than hundred of newly graduated Pharmacists, their families and friends attended a traditional ceremony at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University.
University's Vice-rector for personnel and academic affairs, professor Jiří Hanuš, as well as Faculty of Pharmacy's Dean and Vice-dean for Studies, professor David Vetchý and Doctor Tünde Ambrus, respectively, presided over the graduation ceremony. It was held in the beautiful historic and newly renamed Karel Engliš Auditorium at the Faculty of Law MU, the university's most representative ceremonial hall. From early morning to midafternoon, there were five ceremonies, the first four in celebration of the master's degree programme, the last for the advanced master's graduates. The ceremonies were held in both Czech and English language.
The graduates took a ceremonial oath and received their diploma from the hands of Doctor Ambrus, the Promotor of the ceremony.
Professor Vetchý congratulated all the graduates and acknowledged that the faculty fulfilled its responsibility to prepare them for the wonderful, yet demanding profession which is centered around helping people care for and protect their health. Not seeing the ceremony as the final goodbye, whether it may be for extending their qualifications, lifelong learning or just informal gatherings and reunions, the Dean assured the graduates that the door of the faculty is always open to them. "From the bottom of my heart, I would like to congratulate you, and wish you good health, and every success in your professional and personal life! Try to find joy in every little moment and help one another along the way," he concluded.
Class of 2023, congratulations!

The Faculty of Pharmacy has a big reason to celebrate because the expected follow-up Master's degree programme: Cosmetology and Cosmetic Products has received accreditation and will be open to the first students from the autumn semester of the academic year 2026/2027. It will be primarily offered to the graduates of the Bachelor programme: Cosmetic Products, but also for other applicants with a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields of education, such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or Health Sciences.
