The aim of the project is applied research and experimental development of biocompatible materials based on new, safe animal sources of collagen in combination with carboxymethylated cellulose and subsequently their modification with biologically active substances supporting healing and antibacterial properties. The result of the project is based on 3 functional samples with application utilization such as hemostatics to prevent bleeding (V1), chronic wound coverings (V2) and biologically active dressing releasing healing proteins and antibacterial peptides for heavily healing wounds (V3).
