The most important thing to do before coming to our faculty is choosing courses you wish to study during your stay. The current course offer is available below in the Course catalogue. But before you begin the course selection, here are some important guidelines:
- select courses in the amount of minimum 20 ECTS per semester
- majority of your courses (80%) must be from our faculty
- make sure to only select courses with codes beginning with 'FA' not F1, because F1 are courses taught in Czech!
- with two-part courses (I, II) there are prerequisites - only students who have previously passed the first (I) part can enrol in the second (II)
- exception: if you passed the first part of the course at your home university, you can request the enrolment in the second, but first you must provide a syllabus of the course at your home university (in English) and official Transcript of Records proving you successfully passed the course
- it's possible to choose courses from different years but please keep in mind that higher the year, the more previous knowledge is required
- i.e. to enrol in ‘Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Pharmacology’ you must have previous knowledge in (general) Pharmacology
- also, the more you combine courses from different years, the more likely it is you'll have timetable collisions
- internships and managed pharmaceutical practices are not available to exchange students
- most of our courses have practical excercises and labs so don't forget to bring a white lab coat and change of (closed-toe) shoes with you
Tip for the next semester: Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Practice
- - selective course providing students with insight into the current research topics and practical problems in the Pharmaceutical field
- - consists of guest lectures by scientists invited from our partner universities and research institutions abroad
- - credits for attendance only, no exams
